Caer Ibormeith – (Irish) Daughter of Ethal of the Connact sidhe, she is the mysterious dream lover of Angus Og. The tale says that she was fated to turn into a swan every alternate Samhain, and he had to pick her out of a group of 150 swans in order to marry her. She seems to have been associated with the Otherworlds and with dreams. See Valkyries.
Gerd, Gerða, Gearðe, Þórgerða – (Norse) The giant wife of Ing-Frey, she is a quiet, reserved figure. Her name means “yard”, and she is associated with walled gardens and other enclosed, quiet places. As Þórgerða, she was the protector and patron goddess of Haakon Sigurdson
